On My Mind: Top Knots

Ah, yes, top knots.  The perfect solution to looking put together even if you have gone days without washing your hair.  I know this has been the go-to style the past few years & I think that it looks great year round.

I honestly wish I could pull off a cute, messy, just-rolled-out-of-bed-but-still-looks-fabulous bun like this but I guess I can just accept the fact that that will never happen.  I hate to complain that my hair is too thick or too long because I really don't think that is anything that I should be whining about but it makes your buns waaay to big (like not even cute). 

Uhhh no.  My hair would never look like that but I just have so much inspiration to at least try.  Take my word for it, buy one of these mesh bun makers.  Say NO to socks!  These things are like miracle workers.  These work for thick hair because it will actually keep my layered, crazy mane in place and on top of my head and they work even better for girl's with thin hair because you can fake the look of thick hair. 

Seriously, $4.99 is so worth it.

Blogger for Life

Well… looks like I've hopped back on that blogging bandwagon again.

Honestly, I've been wanting to start blogging again (I mean like real blogging, no more makeup reviews) for so long.  I guess life just got in the way for awhile.  But, I'm back, hopefully for good.

I want this blog to be a personal lifestyle blog that will hopefully inspire you.  I feel like I have so many ideas and pretty pictures and cool things to share and I just kind of need to put it down somewhere.  So,  even if no one reads this that's okay because I am just making this for myself but if I can inspire someone in the process, that would be great too!

OPI's Taylor Blue

I have a beautiful new nail polish for you.  This is OPI's Taylor Blue.  I absolutely adore this color, it's a very glossy teal color, perfect for Spring, Summer, and Fall.  It's a very bold blue but I think that it's also subtle because it's very deep and there is no sparkle or shimmer to it.

It just a great all around polish because it works on all skin tones and it's opaque, more so then any other polish I've used.
